The first song I added to my blog is called "Radio Silence". I wrote this song about myself and how I am always longing for more in life. "I've got a rock and roll, electric soul, born a thousand years ago" was referring to me feeling like I have an old soul, and dont really fit in with todays society. I am always in lala land if you know me! I wrote this song a bit differently than most songs. Usually songs are written with a verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, and then chorus. Radio Silence is written with two verses, a bridge and a third verse. I wanted it to sound like a story. It's definitely a sad song. I am notorious for writing depressing lyrics and melodies, although dont be fooled, I am actually a very happy person!

Its all I hear these days, with the ticking of the clock, as time slips away. Silence is all that fills my nights, with the falling stars I wish upon, that cant hold me tight.
